Overview

Merry Christmas from Heritage Restoration! Now that 2022 is winding down, we are taking a few moments to reflect over the past year. It has certainly been an interesting time.

Overview

Back in September, Heritage Restoration’s staff began a preservation and restoration project for the historic grotto at Holy Ghost Church in Dickyville, Wisconsin. We later discovered that this work was featured in a local newspaper. Below are some details on this unique project.

Overview

Heritage Restoration was recently featured in the news for our part in the ongoing restoration of the Hale Memorial Church. This structure has stood in the West Bluff region of Peoria for well over a century. The church’s forty-two stained glass windows are compromised and nearing collapse. To prevent further deterioration, the property’s new owners have contracted Heritage to remove and stabilize the windows for storage.

Restoring the Natural History Building Web Series

Between the years 2016 and 2018, Heritage Restoration refinished thousands of feet of both millwork and doors for the Ricker Natural History Building in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois. We also recreated a missing four story staircase as an exact copy of its original design. Using footage taken during the project, Heritage’s staff has gone back and prepared a series of short videos to show a behind-the-scenes look at this historic restoration.
